What you need

  • One sharp photo of one person or one pet
  • Sign-in with a Google account
  • 10 credits (480p) or 22 (720p), or the one free preview
  • A browser on your phone or computer
  1. 1

    Take the photo

    ⏱ 1 min

Face a window, hold the phone at eye level and get your shoulders in. Take off sunglasses and hats, and skip beauty filters: the AI copies what it sees.

  2. 2

    Open the seating desk

    ⏱ 30 s

Scroll to the seating desk on the home page and sign in with Google. HEIC photos from an iPhone upload as they are.

  3. 3

Add the photo, pick the quality

    ⏱ 30 s

Pick 480p for phone feeds, 720p if the clip is headed for YouTube or a TV. Clothes come from your photo; there is no outfit menu.

  4. 4

Confirm consent and press the button

    ⏱ 10 s

Tick the box confirming the person is you or an adult who agreed. On a new account the first render is the free 2-second preview.

  5. 5

    Let it render

    ⏱ 4-15 min

Lock the phone or close the tab if you like. Rendering carries on, and the clip lands in My videos.

  6. 6

    Download and post

    ⏱ 2 min

Save both files, with sound and silent. Post the one with sound; if the app mutes it, post the silent one and add "Burning Bridges" inside the app.

When the clip looks wrong

  • It does not look like me

Retake the photo facing a window, no filter, eyes open.

  • My outfit changed

The photo was cropped tight on the face. Use one that shows your top.

  • Someone else's face shows for a moment

It happens when a hand covers the face. Try another front-facing photo.

  • My post went silent

A copyright match on the sound. Post the silent copy and add the sound in the app.

  • The render failed

The credits come back on their own. A photo blocked by the safety check needs replacing.

Questions guests ask

Can I do the Burning Bridges trend on my phone?

Yes. It runs in Safari or Chrome on a recent iPhone or Android phone, no app needed.

Do I need to download the music video?

No. The scene, timing and sound are built in; you only upload a photo. To watch the original, see where it was filmed.

How long is the finished clip?

15 seconds, vertical 9:16: the hand to the lens, the sweep across the table and the wave with the cup.

Can I try a different photo?

Yes. Every render is billed on its own, and one that fails is refunded.

Can I do it with a friend?

One person per clip. Make one each and post them side by side, or stitch them in your editing app.
